this is probably the strongest out of your most recent sketch posts (after the warhammer piece)its the strongest because you can get a better sense of what you're looking at (the action and story).push this one to finish as much as you can. the varying hues on the skin is interesting but harmonize them by painting over flesh tones. check your proportions too, imagine him standing up. in comparison to his torso and his head, he has stubby arms and legs.the hair tails (pigtails sound girly) are really good indication of movement, try to capitalize on that more when you head towards the finish, explore strong gestures.and heres something i learned recently from working on the cards... make sure u add depth to the background so it doesnt feel like theyre standing in front of a wall. throw some atmosphere and perspective background to add depth (mass of people, tribal tents, or an arena/colliseum).
